Welcome to the Germany Information Website; created by a proud military ex-spouse...lol! All military and civilians moving to, and/or living in Germany, should find the information and photos on this site to be very helpful. This information will hopefully ease your mind about your upcoming move and will keep you going during your tour. This site is geared towards the Kaiserslautern Military community, or the KMC, but will be helpful no matter where in Germany you are moving to. The KMC includes Ramstein AB, Landstuhl, Vogelweh, Sembach, Kapaun, and ROB. Please enjoy your time here, and I hope you find some useful information that will help you on your Germany adventure.

I want to give a quick update. I am not sure if you know, but I haven't lived in Germany for 6 years now and am no longer a military spouse. I was torn as to what to do with this great site that I have put SOOO much time and heart into since I first put it on the web in 2001, and had even considered deleting it recently. I didn't want to because I know that it has helped a ton over people, having over 1 million visitors. I felt that it was becoming very outdated, although there is still a ton of pertinent information here, and I wasn't sure I had the strength to try and get it up to speed. I put a note out on our Facebook page, and got several responses that I should keep it up and that everyone would help me to update it. So, that is what I wanted to tell you; be looking for new updates in the next few months, and as always, feel free to help me out as well. Everyone really appreciates the information about moving to and living in Germany while affiliated with the military. I have one last thing to say... I want to give a HUGE thank you to Marge Royahn Hackbart for paying for the next two years to keep this website online. Marge is a civilian who works on base and has spent many years in Germany. She will be there for another 5 years and thought it was very important that we keep this great website available to all of you, as it helped her so much with her move so many years ago. Thank you again Marge!!

I hope this message finds everyone well!
