KMCC

We never got to see the KMCC (the new mall on Ramstein located by the PAX Terminal) open, which we figured would happen with all of the problems they had with it. My friend Tammy shared a few thoughts about it with me and I will post it here for you to see. Please feel free to add your thoughts, tips, or tricks to survive this shopping experience. Thanks! Both of the BX's are closed (Ramstien and Vogelweh). It's hard with everyone shopping in one place and the parking is hard too. The spots are really small. BUT, the KMCC is huge which is good and bad. At one end there are school supplies, cards, wine, cleaning supplies, etc.....and at the COMPLETE opposite end are towels, electronics, furniture, etc. In the middle ... See Moreare clothes, baby stuff, a victoria's secret section. Each section has an entrance and cash registers. BUT- I literally have to PLAN my shopping trip from one end of the store to the other! You don't wanna be checking out on the electronics side and realize you need toilet paper. Then you have to walk all the way back. I would say it would be like walking the length of 5 commissaries side by side. There is a bigger selection of things and the same rules apply - BUY it when you see it or it will be gone. Lots of different places to eat, but again, you end up getting tired of the same thing. We had Chili's today bc we were tired of the mall food. HA! Imagine!!!

LOVE IT ALOT!! It's like they knew I was coming and made it just for me, because if they didn't have it, I would miss the malls back in the states!! But I don't so much, because it is a 2 story mall, with nice little shops, movie theatre and the huge BX/PX!!
